Sharon worked most of her life in the restaurant and food service industry. Sharon married the love of her life, Noel Lewis on November 15th, 2003, and together they built a beautiful life right here in Searcy County. She was born in Prairie County, Arkansas on January 28th, 1963 to Frank Leonard Diemer and Shirley Temple Price Diemer. Sharon Rose Lewis, age 61 of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be held Friday at 1:00PM at Virginia’s home church, Longley Baptist Church located at 9900 Geyer Springs Road in Little Rock. Upon her return to Longley she faithfully served in the Pioneers at Longley Ministry (Pals) Tuesday Noon Bible Study, and Bereavement Ministry until her health failed her.Ī visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home. She served in the following ministries Sunday school, Senior Choir, Willy Wiley Bible Class, Raven Brook Food Ministry and bereavement cook.īecause of age Virginia reunited with Longley Baptist Church to be near her home, Rev. Mark the Baptist Church, Bishop Steven Arnold, Senior Pastor. ushers instructor, president of the Gospel Choir Sunday School and mission. She was united with the Longley Baptist Church, Rev. Virginia retired in in 1988 and she and Leander moved to Little Rock to be closer her oldest sister. Ushers, Sunday school, mission, union usher board of California Southern District, Western State Convention. She was a senior usher, supervisor of the Jr. Being faithful to the Baptist doctrine she united with the Second Baptist Church Monrovia, California under the leadership of Rev. June of 1961 Virginia’s job moved her to Hope Medical Center in Dmarte, California- Dept of Biology. She met Leander Sibley, president of the senior ushers and after one year they married on May 28, 1955. pastor she was a member of the Sanctuary Choir. King, Sr.įebruary, 1951 Virginia moved to Los Angeles, California and united with the Mt. Virginia spent her early childhood in Monticello, Arkansas where she attended Drew County High School, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age with the Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. She was the eleventh of twelve children born to the late Dock Owens and Ophelia Evens Owens. She passed away on Februat the age of 97. Virginia Owens Sibley was born in Warren, Arkansas September 7, 1926.
